The whole gang is here...

...or, in other words, why Daddy is no longer permitted to go shopping at the Disney Store without supervision.

Hello, friend!

Ever since she learned to walk, I've decided that my neighbor Allie is a lot more fun to hang with. So oftentimes when Mom and Rowan and I are out for a walk, I'll ask to go in the direction of her house and yell "see ah-yeeee" all the way there...which can take a while, depending on whether or not I decide to stop and clean the sticks or leaves off of people's sidewalks. She has an extensive Elmo collection...which isn't why I'm friends with her, per say, but it certainly doesn't hurt! Now if only at least one of us knew how to share...

Holy roller!

Behold...video footage of my sister's first (and only) rollover, which she didn't even have the courtesy to do while I was awake. How am I to partake of such important milestones with these pesky naps getting in the way?! That's why lately I've been trying to cut my naps as short as possible. Don't want to miss a thing!

It may be worth noting that immediately before said rollover, Daddy had pushed...er, I mean helped Rowan roll over several times...so she was already in the optimal position for the roll. She has yet to do a fully independent roll, but whatever, kids. The video's great!

BTW, Mommy told me that to fully enjoy this, you all need to know that Rowan's outfit is on backwards because Daddy dressed her. That Daddy...he's so creative!

More eggs!

Although this wasn't the original egg-finding mission (Mom was so excited she forgot to get it on video), I recreated the experience while waiting in line to meet the Easter Bunny.

I don't like the looks of you

Happy Easter, everybody! It took this special holiday (which I refer to simply as "more eggs!") to make me realize that I care not at all for men in suits. It started with this bad run-in in 2007...

...followed shortly by a very large Elmo imposter (of which there is no photographic evidence...thank goodness!) and then this guy...

After Rowan tested the waters and established that the Easter Bunny was, in fact, friend and not foe, I agreed to pose with him for a picture...

...but only with my dad as a buffer. That giant bunny seemed to sense that if he messed with me, my dad would serve him up a piece of something he wouldn't like the taste of.
And after we established that, we all got along just fine. High five, my fuzzy friend!

Another blast from the past

Me: 3 mos, 3 days

Rowan: 3 mos, 10 days

I got a hold on you

Last week, I got to hold my sister, Rowan, for the first time. When Mom put her in my lap, I took my left arm and put it around her shoulders, settling it into a nice, loose head lock. The other arm I used for holding hands. Rowan, known for her mellow sure-whatever-I'm-down-with-that attitude, didn't voice any objections. Now, I regularly request to hold her. Some days, she doesn't seem to be in the mood for a snuggle with me, although it's not at all clear to me why.
