Bathtender, get this kid another drink!
Judge us if you must, but 75 percent of Remy's daily fluid intake comes from the bathtub and other highly questionable sources.

On the road again
Last Mother's Day Eve, my mom and Remy conducted a brief experiment involving walking down a flight of uncarpeted stairs in socks whilst toting a baby. The conclusion came rather fast and furiously, involving a visit to the local emergency room, xrays, an MRI, ambulance transport into the city and an overnight stay at Children's Memorial in which they conducted meet-and-greets with a steady stream of nurses and specialists.
Discharge the next morning with the all-clear for Remy was the very best Mother's Day present my mom could have asked for, but this year, they thought they'd dial it back a bit in the dramatics department. Which is why, with Rowan and I off at Nannie's for a sleepover, Remy and Mom opted for a spontaneous road trip to Lake Geneva.
Brainstorming plans at the local coffee shop drive thru at 5:04 pm, dining lakeside by 6:30 pm, followed by a stroll through a nearby resort and back home and to bed at a rebelliously late hour.
They took Dad, too, because...you know...he was already driving. Woulda been awkward.
